The announcement of the cast for season 2 of The Last of Us continues with four important new faces. One of them was seen in Uncharted and two Netflix series.
Nothing can stop The Last of Us season 2, which has started filming. For several weeks, production has been able to let loose a little more and make revelations about the next participants in the HBO series. We already know the actors behind Abby, Jesse and Dina, but certain roles had not yet been made public. There’s been something new in the last few hours with a bunch of important characters for Abby.

The Last of Us series is currently filming and everything seems to be going well so far, including the choice of actors for these new episodes. Although some would have preferred to see Shannon Berry as Abby, there was no massive uproar when Kaitlyn Dever was announced for the role. If you’ve done TLOU 2, you know that Abby isn’t alone in the game. She belongs to a group called the Washington Liberation Front, a new military faction first seen in the sequel, which has several members. And thanks to Variety, who spilled the beans early, we have a complete overview of the casting of Abby’s team in season 2 of The Last of Us.
The most famous recruit is Tati Gabrielle. A young actress who starred in the film Uncharted where she played the antagonist Jo Braddock. But you may have also seen him in the Netflix series YOU. It was Marienne in seasons 3 and 4. She was cast as Nora Harris. Danny Ramirez, who played Mickey Garcia in Top Gun Maverick, will play Manny. Ariela Barer has been cast as Mel, a pregnant doctor in the game, while Owen will be played by Spencer Lord (The Good Doctor, Family Law).
The Last of Us season 2 is therefore taking shape and is keen to give space to the secondary characters in the plot. To find out if Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin made the right choices, go somewhere in 2025 for the broadcast on HBO Max. By then, the SVOD service should finally be available here.
