a brutal and visceral action game revealed, it’s amazing!

The publisher of the future shooter Mouse, the meeting between Mickey Mouse and Cuphead, announces Kill Knight. A supercharged action game with a big soundtrack and enemies who want you.

When independent studios join forces to highlight their productions, it gives rise to the Triple-i Initiative conference. An event that highlights IIIs, big indie games always made with love, but with more budget than some other software on the market. It was during this meeting that players were able to get a glimpse of Prince of Persia The Rogue. But another title had an effect on us: Kill Knight. A very edgy experience that looks promising.

Kill Knight wants to destroy everything on consoles and PC

PlaySide Studios (The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners), which is both developer and publisher, has therefore announced Kill Knight. A frenetic action game in isometric view, decidedly arcade, which made our eyes shine, hungry for brutal and bloody fights. As a betrayed knight, the player must overcome supernatural hordes swarming in the abyss with swords or by emptying magazines with big guns, while trying not to succumb to a hell of bullets – or bullet hell for English speakers, a subgenre of shoot’em up.

“A once loyal knight, now betrayed and banished to the Abyss. A tainted body in reanimated armor. You answer for eternal death. Kill Knight at the mark, you have a single objective: kill the last angel » (via Steam).

With its electric soundtrack, speed and visceral combat, Kill Knight doesn’t seem like the kind of experience where the player will be able to rest or let their guard down. Unless he wants to die of course. According to the game’s description, Kill Knight offers “five increasingly dangerous deadly floors” to complete. To avoid staying in the abyss forever, the betrayed knight can improve his speed as well as the damage inflicted over time, or even evolve his style. And since there is a fully assumed arcade dimension, expect global rankings, but also a Master mode for more challenge which will put the five floors end to end. Kill Knight will be available in 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
