A bump in his crotch intrigues the gendarmes, who make an unexpected discovery there

In the Dordogne, gendarmes and customs officers who were carrying out a road check made an astonishing discovery. A pretzel seller who had a bump in his crotch was actually hiding more than 600 euros in his underwear.

A discovery they are not ready to forget. At the Bachellerie toll on the A89 in Thenon, Dordogne, gendarmes and customs officers carried out a vast traffic control the “SIEVE” operation (for tickets, addictions, goods, irregular immigration and road safety) this Tuesday, November 22. During the operation, they notably checked a young driver from Strasbourg who had a large bump in the crotch through his pink jogging, reports our colleagues from France Bleu.

The driver then explained that he had hid banknotes in small denominations in his underpants to avoid having them stolen. This money, worthabout 600 euros, came from the sale of pretzels, the motorist said.

The motorist in total legality

However, this is not illegal because in France, it is possible to have up to 10,000 euros on you according to the law. The gendarmes and customs officers still decided to search the vehicle but they found nothing illegal. Only toilet paper and small appliances, which, according to the motorist, belonged to his mother because the latter was in the process of moving.

During this major check which lasted most of the morning, 134 people were checked on 57 vehicles and 28 heavy goods vehicles, reports France Bleu. Sixteen offenses were noted mainly on heavy goods vehicles. A motorist also saw his license withdrawn and his vehicle immobilized because he no longer had a licence. Narcotics were also discovered. In all, nearly twenty gendarmes were mobilized for this operation.
