December 20, 2022 was inaugurated Johnny Hallydaythe exhibition in Brussels. From December 22, 2023 to June 19, 2024, this event in homage to the Taulier will take place at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris. In his book, David Hallyday returns to the exhibition dedicated to his late father. “Speaking of commercial exploitation, I am thinking of a recent exhibition in Brussels where my father’s personal objects were shown. If he targets Laeticia Hallyday without naming her, Sylvie Vartan’s son warns that he did not write this autobiography to settle scores. “In my family, no offense to those who wanted to change the rules, love and dignity have always prevailed. I was raised like this […] Being famous, for example, does not imply having to make your life public [concernant l’héritage de Johnny Hallyday]. However, this episode – obviously absolutely private – saw the triumph of voyeurism that I won’t forget. That I will not forgive”.
