A campaign against violence against children

In this health context which forces them to remain confined, many children unfortunately find themselves confined with their executioner. To combat this daily violence, the #Noustoutes collective and UNICEF are launching a campaign called #Entendonsleurscris.

“In France, more than 50,000 children and adolescents are victims of physical, sexual and psychological violence. " They are still there around us, these children are often confronted daily with violent and abusive parents.

The strict confinement which continues has a double impact on these fragile children. The risks of isolation and domestic violence are increased tenfold. To help these silent victims and to urge witnesses to report this violence, Madeline and Lyes, two activists from the collective #NousAll for the rights of the child and UNICEF are launching a campaign called #Let'sListenCris.

"Wednesday is the traditional children's day and peak day for 119 Allô Enfance en danger. But for the past month, Wednesdays have been dreadfully silent. "

Children are in pain, they are in constant danger, and it is up to you to reach out to them to help them out. Your vigilance must redouble during this period of confinement. If in doubt, "If an adult hurts you: scares you, hits you, insults you, touches your body and it makes you uncomfortable, you are in danger. Or if you think we are hurting another child ", immediately call 119 – Hello Childhood in Danger. As a reminder, this service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This call is free and does not appear on telephone statements.

Raising awareness through social networks

To reach the maximum number of children and adolescents, this #EntendonsLeusCris campaign was deployed on social networks. So, you can relay it yourself this message in Instagram and / or Facebook story. Here are three little tutorials:

For the first story:

"Step 1: I take a selfie (so far so good)
Step 2: I add the sticker 119 (see arrow first image)
Step 3: This shows me several possibilities: I click on GIF
Step 4: This brings me to a search page, in the gray strip at the top I type: allo119. This shows me sticker # 119 with the emoticon
Step 5: I place the sticker on my mouth. "

For the second story:

"Step 1: I film myself by inviting the children to call 119 with the following message (you can adapt it as long as you keep the outline):
If an adult around you hurts or scares you, insults you, touches your body and makes you feel uncomfortable: you are in danger. If you think we are hurting another child. Even if you're not sure, you can talk about it without risk.
Adults are there to protect you, call 119, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, free of charge! The calls of children and adolescents have priority. You have the right to talk about it.
Step 2: I add the # 119 #LetendonsLeurscris "

For the third story:

"I add the visual made for this (earlier in the article) and I add the # 119 #ListenListerscris."
