a colossal set has leaked, it’s absolutely magnificent

LEGO has just revealed a brand new set, and this one is a true visual marvel. So much so that it’s hard not to succumb. We tell you all about it.

A new LEGO set is already attracting attention even before its official announcement: it is the Spatial Artemis set, discovered by chance in a store at Taipei airport. This find recalls a similar incident last year, where a model was revealed before its launch. The new set, numbered 10341, includes the Artemis I rocket and its launch pad, totaling 3,601 pieces. And it’s magnificent!

A beautiful LEGO set

The set focuses on the faithful reproduction of the Artemis I rocket, accompanied by its side thrusters. However, the highlight of the show is undoubtedly the launch pad itself. An imposing structure built from gray bricks. Although the kit is primarily designed for display, with few internal details like control rooms or cockpits, it promises to be an impressive addition for collectors.

The official launch of the LEGO Artemis Space Launch System is scheduled for May 15. With an announced price of 259.99 dollars/euros. Additional details regarding the set are expected to be revealed by the LEGO Group in the coming days. It is not yet confirmed whether this set will come with an exclusive gift, as has been the case with previous collaborations between LEGO and NASA.

The last LEGO NASA set was the 2,300-piece Space Shuttle Discovery released in 2021. The new Artemis set appears to be renewing enthusiasm for LEGO space models. Offering an intricate and detailed build that should captivate astronomy enthusiasts and LEGO enthusiasts alike.

History point

The Artemis I rocket is part of NASA’s Artemis program, which aims to return humans to the Moon and eventually establish a lasting presence there. Artemis I, specifically, is an unmanned mission. Whose main purpose is to test the Orion space launch system and the Orion capsule. Designed to transport astronauts to the Moon in future missions.
