Confronted with the DNA results, Yann presses Hugo on how he plans to break the news to Sabine that her son is involved in the thefts. ‘I need to start by telling her that I have a son,’ he admits, adding, ‘I considered discussing it, but this kid has never been part of my life. There wasn’t an immediate need, and I was waiting for the right moment.’ Yann urges him to come clean to Sabine quickly, before she hears it from someone else. Meanwhile, Hugo requests that Yann keeps the DNA findings under wraps for a day, so he can have a conversation with his partner.
The following day, Noa shares with Pablo a potential new job that could bring in significant cash. Although Pablo feels hesitant, he reluctantly agrees to meet Vincent, who has a proposal for them.
At the police station, Commissioner Becker inquires about the progress on the burglary investigation. Feeling cornered, Yann pretends he hasn’t received the DNA results yet. If Becker intends to apply pressure, Yann stands firm against it.
