France can congratulate itself since it is the next big objective of the CD Projekt studio behind Cyberpunk 2077. A French exclusivity which will do good to many people.
In France we have the right since 1999 to a show dedicated to manga culture and by declination often to video games and pop culture: the Japan Expo. The opportunity for many to come and celebrate in a good mood around a common pleasure with often also many cosplays referring to well-known licenses. In this context we are obviously delighted to learn of the presence of CD PROJEKT behind Cyberpunk 2077 for the next edition.
Cyberpunk and France
It was following the press conference held by Japan Expo that the CD PROJEKT RED studio announced its participation in the event with the franchise Cyberpunk 2077 as a figurehead, of course. Holding on from July 13 to 16, 2023 the license should have a good place with in particular the presence of cyberpunk edge runners, the famous Anime that we had the opportunity to discover on Netflix. You should also know that an 80-minute round table on the Yuzu stage will take place with the presence of Bartosz Stybor (narrative animation director) and Saya Elder (producer and creative supervisor) as well as Tsutsumi Naoko (animation producer ) and Yoshinari Yoh (lead character designer) of the series. Just that. Two Polish guests from CD Projekt and two Japanese guests from the Trigger studio who will be able to answer the many questions from fans. All this will take place July 15 from 3 p.m. to 4:20 p.m..
The future of Cyberpunk 2077 on the program of Japan Expo 2023
But Cyberpunk is also above all a video game. And it’s not a surprise we know that on the side of 2077 is preparing heavy with the upcoming extension Phantom Liberty. That’s good because an exclusive presentation in France will take place on this occasion with the presence of Nicolas Cardahi (Cinematic Designer of the game) on July 14 at 2:30 p.m.. More information is to come on this presentation but we can already count on great discoveries on the Cyberpunk saga, both in video games and in series. Not bad is not it ? You can already mark all this in your calendars. It’s rather good news for France that a national event can once again receive the attention of large development studios such as this one.
