Tomb Raider is making a double announcement which will certainly please fans of the license, but not only that since a large number of players could also find what they are looking for.
Miss Croft is kept waiting. The next big Tomb Raider is currently in development behind the scenes at Crystal Dynamics, and longtime fans are eagerly awaiting it. But for now, Lara has returned to shine with a big compilation bringing together her first three adventures, entirely remastered for the occasion. Unfortunately, this compilation has not only made people happy and for good reason, it is only available in digital version. Well, that was before.
Great news for Tomb Raider Remastered
Yes, dear pancake lovers, you will be in heaven. Tomb Raider Remastered will soon return in physical version on consoles! It’s the official Tomb Raider account that tells us the good news. These physical versions are the result of a partnership with Limited Run, a firm well known for its collector versions and other physical editions full of goodies. This time, however, we will not have any visuals to get our teeth into regarding Tomb Raider Remastered and for good reason, before its arrival, other games in the license will be entitled to a new physical version and a beautiful collector’s item.
Another announcement that will please Lara fans
This is the second good news of the day for Lara fans, the games Lara Croft and the Keeper of Light and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will soon return in a physical collection for the Nintendo Switch. A bundle including the cartridge with the two games, but also a collector’s version which should make many collector fans happy. For €90, you can not only have the two games in physical versions, but also several goodies.
Contents of the Limited Run Lara Croft Collector’s Collection:
- The games Lara Croft and the Keeper of Light as well as Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris on Nintendo Switch in physical version.
- A Steelbook
- The OST in CD version
- Illustrations
- An acrylic display featuring Lara and other heroes from the games
Whether it’s the standard version games or the limited collector’s edition, know that pre-orders are already open on the Limited Run website. Be careful though, because you only have until June 9 to decide. Everything should be delivered by November 2024 if all goes well.
