While Jane Foster, The Mighty Thor, has just joined the cast of heroes of Marvel’s Avengers, a new heroine will soon arrive in the game. This is what the presenter Techniq reveals during a stream on the official Xbox channel.
During an exchange with Brian Waggoner, lead designer of Marvel’s Avengershe revealed that the person who auditioned to play She-Hulk in the game is actually his acting teacher. Only problem, the presenter thought that the character had already been announced when that was absolutely not the case!
The reaction of the lead designer was not long in coming. Brian Wagoner immediately explained to the presenter what he had just done. He still tries to make up for the blunder:
“We are working on our next hero, we haven’t said who it will be yet. There will be a time for that, we are focused right now on celebrating the work the team has done on Jane. When it’s time to talk about who’s next, we’ll talk about who’s next.”
Although the plans around the next character may changethere is a good chance that the future hero to join the title roster is none other than She-Hulk. It will surely be a “clone” character of Hulk just like Jane Foster is a “clone” of Thor. The two will surely have some differences all the same since they are not the same size.
This unofficial She-Hulk character announcement is timely since the latter will, next August, receive his series on Disney+. It remains to be seen if the character will be released around the same time. In any case, if other characters are planned to stick with the next MCU films, it is very likely that Captain Marvel or the Guardians of the Galaxy is coming to the game from Crystal Dynamics.
