Airbnb is making the childhood dreams of many X-Men and Up There fans come true by reproducing iconic locations from these two franchises in real life.
For a limited time, Airbnb is offering fans the opportunity to stay in rather faithful reproductions of the mansion from the hit series X-Men 97′, as well as in the floating house of Là-Haut. This is unfortunately happening across the Atlantic, and the experience will be expensive in more than one way.
The X-Men Mansion 97′ and the house of Up there are larger than life
Airbnb has launched a very original marketing campaign, called Icons. This intends to offer fans the opportunity to reside in iconic homes from various popular licenses. Among the 11 experiences offered, we will notably retain the reproductions of the mansion from the X-Men 97′ series and the house from Là-Haut, balloon flight a priori included… at your own risk in both cases.
The first residence will be located in New York. It will be possible to leave with a superhero certificate in your pocket. The second will be in New Mexico. Reservations are already open if by chance you wish to spend a few days off abroad. But it will cost you. In addition to the trip, each night will be priced at $97, at least for the X-Men mansion (ironic, right?).
This is part of an effort, according to Brian Chesky, CEO of Airbnb, to roughly detach people from their screens. “ As life becomes more and more digital, we want to bring more magic into the real world.
