Despite her daughter’s insistence, a mother did not want to take her to the hairdresser. His father ended up doing it, thus creating a real family rupture.

The 29-year-old dad explained how his wife was “obsessed” by their daughter’s long curly hair. “Ever since she was a little girl, she’s spent hours styling her every day, braiding her, straightening her and styling her in every way”, he explained. An obsession not shared by the little eight-year-old girl who “hated” when his mother combs his hair, thus creating regular altercations.
Begging her mum to take her to the hairdresser, the little girl was confronted with his refusal and then walked over to her daddy. “I was reluctant at first because I didn’t know how my wife would react, but I agreed when I saw how excited the little one was about something as simple as a haircut”, he justified. Arrived at the hairdresser, the little girl chose a “very short clipper cut”. Once the hair was cut, the return home was particularly difficult.
