A first detailed look at the world of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen

Bungie unveils this Tuesday a first detailed look at the world of Savathû’s thronen, new destination of the extension The Witch Queen for Destiny 2. This campaign, which will be released on February 22, 2022 with Season 16, will be the starting point for Year 5 of the game. You will discover a “corrupt and splendid wonderland”, the scene of a fragile balance of terrifying powers.

In The Witch Queen, players will face enemies unlike any they have encountered so far. and discover the truth behind Savathûn, the Witch Queen. Players will explore a whole new destination with the world of Savathûn’s throne and will face its luminous brood, Hive enemies infused with the same Light as that held by their Guardians. In order to overcome these many dangers, and for the first time ever, players will be able to forge their own weapons with the all-new weapon creation feature and master a new type of weaponry: the Glaive.
