A first patch is already planned for Hades 2 – Gamosaurus

Barely released, the latest from Supergiant Games was a hit. Less than a week after its debut, Hades 2 discusses its future with the first patch. For the moment, no date announced for the latter. But the developers focus on the points they want to hit. Obviously, performances are in the spotlight. However, they do not neglect the gameplay, quite the contrary.

As with the majority of early access, that ofHades II allows Supergiant to obtain a whole bunch of data and feedback from players. This makes it easier for them to spot problematic elements, fix errors, and balance the game. Of course, they also see possible performance issues or bugs that may be encountered. And this first update will focus in particular on bugs causing crashes or loss of progress.

At the same time, and because the game is still too young, the balancing should barely be affected. However, resource collection already seems to pose some problems. To prevent it from being a chore, solutions are explored. For example, Supergiant seems to want to remove the need to collect all harvesting tools before a race in Tartarus or the Underworld. Likewise, sprinting and dashing should be improved to provide a better feeling. Unfortunately, we will have to wait for the release of this first patch on Hades 2 to find out what the exact changes will be.
