NVIDIA hasn’t used this cooling system for a while now on its Founders Edition graphics cards.

With a total graphics power (TGP) of 450 W, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 is a demanding model. A model that we would not have imagined supported by blower-type cooling.

Only two PCIe slots

As early as November, diagrams had however appeared, proving that a model of RTX 4090 with blower was being studied by a Chinese manufacturer. The Manli society was then mentioned.

It is no longer a question of a diagram, and it is photos that seem very real that illustrate this GeForce, which is surprising to say the least. Indeed, blower-type cooling is considered less efficient than the dual-ventilation solution adopted by NVIDIA.

Less efficient, and yet it is on the most energy-consuming graphics card that this system signs its return. The thing is surprising, especially since the card in question only occupies two PCIe slots, when the RTX 4090 cards rather flirt with four.

High rotational speed?

While no information has come from the manufacturer of this card, the Manli company has denied any involvement, and it is not the photos that tell us more at this level.

These pictures, however, allow us to discover a card that seems to measure between 30 and 32 centimeters long, for a “normal” height of 11.5 cm. As we said, it is also distinguished by its thinness which allows it to occupy a little less than two PCIe slots. It can be assumed that a steam chamber is integrated into the system to maintain a certain efficiency.

Still, the heatsink seems very compact to properly evacuate the heat emitted by such a monstrous GPU. We can therefore assume that, to compensate, the fan rotates at high speed, and the question of noise pollution then inevitably arises.

In addition, the card has no backplate, and the power connector is in 16-pin ATX 12VHPWR format. There is of course only one, located at the very end of a card whose PCB is surprisingly long compared to the RTX 4090 models already observed.

Finally, the card was only seen on Goofish, an Alibaba service. It was sold there for 15,000 RMB, or more or less 2,040 euros, a price in the upper range of the RTX 4090s sold in China.
