The highly anticipated Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle finally has a release date on PC, Xbox Series and PS5. To complete the expedition, a superb collector’s edition has been presented, but which risks dividing.
In addition to confirming the arrival of Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle on PC and Xbox Series on December 9, 2024, as well as the surprise of its arrival on PS5 in the spring of 2025 during Gamescom 2024, MachineGames and Bethesda took the opportunity to present a collector’s item that collectors keen on archaeology will probably want to snap up. But you may have to pay for it with a golden idol found in a lost temple, at your own risk…
The Indiana Jones collector’s place is in a museum
Like all other major video game productions, Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle will be available in different editions. In addition to the basic edition, we have a Digital Premium version, as well as a Collector’s Edition. The first, priced at a fairly steep 99.99 euros, includes the Order of Giants narrative DLC, a digital artbook and the Temple of Doom outfit, in reference to the second film. Another addition to this version, which may make some people tick: three days of early access to the game.
The Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle Collector’s Edition includes all of the above, with other exclusive goodies of course. Namely a replica of the diary of this dear archaeologist, a superb world map showcasing conspiracies, a steelbook, as well as a replica of an in-game relic displaying the game code. Again, some will be put off by the fact that this is yet another collector’s edition without a physical copy. What will also make collectors tick is its price: 199.99 euros, all the same.
Finally, we are of course entitled to the traditional pre-order bonuses concerning Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle. These take the form of the Last Crusade Pack, in reference to the third eponymous film with Sean Connery in the role of Indy’s father. This pack includes the corresponding travel outfit, as well as an alternative appearance for the whip, called “Lion Tamer”. In either case, for receptive players, our professor will be well equipped for his adventure expected as a reminder on December 9 on PC, Xbox Series and Game Pass, and during spring 2025 on PS5.
