Ronaldo races to the milestone with a wild goal show

Cristiano Ronaldo has been waiting for a four-pack in club football for almost five years. In Europe he no longer wants to succeed after moving from Real Madrid to Juventus. That only changes with the move to Saudi Arabia. With a wild goal show, CR7 is now racing to the next milestone in his career.

Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has set the next milestone in his career with his new club Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. The now 38-year-old Portuguese scored all four of his team’s goals in the 4-0 away win at Al-Wehda, his opening goal also being his 500th league goal. He only needed forty minutes for his goals. The former world-class player scored his first goal in the 21st minute and his last on the other side of the half in the 61st minute.

“Great feeling to have scored four goals and scored my 500th league goal in a very solid team win,” Ronaldo wrote on social media. The match referee signed the ball after the final whistle and presented it as a gift to Ronaldo, who can now add it to all his other trophies.

Ronaldo’s four-goal was his first in a game since his Portuguese side drew 5-1 in Lithuania on September 10, 2019. He hadn’t done it at club level since his time at Real Madrid. For Los Blancos, he scored four goals in the 6-3 spectacle against Girona in March 2018. After moving to Juventus in the summer of 2018, CR7 had significantly reduced its production.

In the previous game on Friday last week against Al-Fateh (2-2), the former Real Madrid, Manchester United, Juventus Turin and Sporting Lisbon pro had already scored his first competitive goal for the new club. Ronaldo had scored for the league leaders in his third competitive game for the first time with a penalty kick in injury time.

The five-time world footballer switched to Al-Nassr in winter, where he signed a contract for two and a half years. According to media reports, including advertising revenue, he should get the equivalent of around 200 million euros per season.
