We’re getting there, season 2 of Diablo 4 is coming this October 17 around 7 p.m. at home and she has a ton of surprises in store for us. New content, powerful new bosses, unique loot galore and a myriad of gameplay changes. More than just a season, the Season of Blood poses here as THE meeting supposed to save Diablo 4 which has lost many players since its first season. But among all the expected new features, a highly requested feature will not be there. Well, not at the moment…
A highly anticipated feature is coming soon to Diablo 4
In Diablo 4, you choose your hero, your class and your equipment. We can change the look of our outfits at any time using transmogrification. This technique allows players to change the appearance of their gear as they wish simply by collecting different pieces of equipment. But apart from that, a few tattoos on the body and a face, you can’t really personalize your character. And this is a feature that is extremely requested by the community. During a recent interview in which we were able to participate, the question was asked. When will we be able to change even our avatar’s haircut?
“It’s clearly something we want to do in the future, but it hasn’t been decided yet”answers Andy Lomerson, lead artist of Diablo 4. “We hear a lot of players asking for it, it’s something we clearly want to do, but I can’t give a definitive date at the moment”. The answer is crystal clear. Extensive character customization is coming soon to Diablo 4, but we don’t yet know when. Lomerson also told us that “many new cosmetics will be arriving in the near future” and that, precisely, “new haircuts will appear”. “We want players to be able to be flexible with how their characters look, so we’ll continue to make improvements and make regular updates”concludes Joseph Piepiora, Associate Game Director, also present during the interview.
It is therefore well and truly on track, it will soon be possible to further personalize your hero and we can even hope that seasonal content will expand this functionality in future seasons. We will see, for the moment, there is no date set for the deployment of this feature, but it will arrive, be sure of it. For the moment, it is season 2 of Diablo 4 arriving on consoles and PC.
