TLOU 2 is still more than three years old now, so it all holds up well. On the other hand, we should not wait for the release of this sequel for a long time.
TLOU or another AAA from a new IP?
Last January, Neil Druckmann indicated that he was well aware that players wanted a third episode of The Last of Us. Neil Druckmann’s Instagram bio could very well be about a big AAA project that Naughty Dog is working on with PlayStation Studios Visual Arts, a studio specializing in animation and motion capture that has already participated in the development of the remake of the original episode. A job advertisement posted in October 2022 mentioned this mysterious title for which Sony was looking for a senior producer. Please note, this does not mean that it is necessarily a new IP, but we cannot completely rule out this possibility.
