Starfield promises change

The firm is preparing to deploy patch 1.8.83 for its newborn, and it promises to be massive. At the moment it is only available on Steam Beta. That is, users of the PC version of Starfield can try it, but on a separate version from the one they already have. Regardless, this update will bring some great new features to the experience, starting with DLSS support. For some fans, the wait is over, and that’s a relief.

Before the update arrived, only FSR 2.0 was present in Starfield. Nothing unusual, since it was associated with AMD. However, NVIDIA’s DLSS 3.5 was not in sight, and this worried some players. So much so that mods had been put in place to compensate for this. It will finally be part of this patch, making the game compatible with the frame generation. On the other hand, DLSS will only be available to NVIDIA PC users. For their part, console players can rejoice in the arrival of HDR, among other things.
