The Elysee on the verge of being in turmoil?

This Thursday, November 11, 2021, Liberation managed to contact the Élysée. “As soon as the facts were brought to the attention of the authorities, measures were immediately taken: listening, support and accompaniment of the victim, immediate assignment, far from the Elysee Palace, of the accused person.” However, the Elysee insisted on being “awaiting the judicial investigation to qualify the facts and see the follow-up to be given”, can we read.

This case, which has remained secret until now, could well put the Elysee in turmoil since it involves a non-commissioned officer accused of rape within the establishment itself. “Patrick Strzoda, Emmanuel Macron’s chief of staff, has been since the Benalla affair uncompromising, intractable and dazzling as soon as there is inappropriate behavior by an Elysée employee”, assured a source close to the file to Liberation.
