French actress Audrey Fleurot (“HPI”) returned to the set of the “Kaamelott” series with her usual sense of humor.
As she triumphs in HPI on TF1, actress Audrey Fleurot returned to her experience on the Kaamelott series by Alexandre Astier, in which she appeared in 31 episodes.
At the origin of his commitment to Kaamelott, there is the theater. Alexandre Astier sees her perform on stage and makes her shoot a few sketches in a medieval universe with a small group. The idea is then to approach television channels with this kind of “demo tape”.
At the time, the one who will become the star of HPI interprets Angharad, the servant of Queen Guinevere, who will ultimately be played in the series by Vanessa Guedj.

The rest is known: M6 is looking for a replacement for Camera Café and orders the first season of Kaamelott from Alexandre Astier. The series achieved phenomenal success during the six seasons of its broadcast, changing format and moving from 3-minute sketches to longer formats. Audrey Fleurot was part of the adventure during the six years of her existence, in the role of the Lady of the Lake.
Her scenes, often shot on a green screen, were often quickly boxed, as she humorously confided to the show En Aparté:

It’s an adventure that took me very little time, we came and we did six sketches a day, it went very quickly, and since I had this kind of halo, people didn’t recognize me, so I have long been thought of as a mythomaniac. We didn’t make the connection, so I was still a little offended.
From now on, the Kaamelott adventure takes place in the cinema, and the Lady of the lake was back in the First part, released in the summer of 2021. So will Audrey Fleurot be present again in the second episode? For the moment obviously, she has not been contacted:

The second installment does not yet have a release date. Filming was originally scheduled to begin in the spring of 2023 but so far seems off. To be continued…
