Starfield is getting a new mod that promises to renew the gaming experience on PC. Discover new features and customization possibilities.
Highly anticipated, Starfield was finally released in September 2023. This space odyssey from Bethesda continues to inspire fans, especially on PC! Modders generally have a field day, as evidenced by a new completely free mod available since April 7. This literally promises to renew the gaming experience.
We owe this new mod, the size of a real big DLC, to internet user TankGirl444. Named “TGs Galactic Colonies Expanse“, it considerably enriches one of the community’s most popular game systems, enough to revive interest in Bethesda’s software.
Starfield becomes a Farming Simulator?
The “TGs Galactic Colonies Expanse” mod, to be found for free on NexusMods, tackles the entire construction and resource exploitation section and revisits a whole agricultural system. Thanks to it, you can therefore launch into industrial agriculture. Plant your crops, maintain your land and harvest your fruits and vegetables like a real Farming Simulator.
For more immersion, TankGirl444 has also designed a whole series of new buildings and items. This should make colony building even more enjoyable. In fact, it is the promise of personalization even bigger.
But this is not the only advantage of the mod. In fact, it also offers mech fights in-depth. Finally, develop an entire defense system for your farm and your city using turrets specially designed for it. So, it is a whole strategic issue which is added to the farm simulation aspect.
What’s more, the mod should continue to be enriched and optimized over time, as the modder indicates. Currently, some bugs are still to be deplored. For example, certain characters or items appear underground or even mango trees can only be planted in FPS view. Nothing too damaging though.
To date, the mod weighs 1.1 GB. To install it, only the basic version of Starfield is needed, on PC obviously. And, the icing on the cake, it is available in French, provided you download the translation kit, made available from the description page. We say thank you again to the community.
