Once again, LEGO is totally delighting with a brand new set of a cult license, something to delight fans, but a little less their wallets. Here’s what we know.
To properly celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of the film The Phantom Menace as well as the LEGO Star Wars range, LEGO has announced the launch of a highly anticipated set: Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator. Scheduled for May 1, this set enriches the LEGO Star Wars collection with a modern reinterpretation of a classic loved by fans.
LEGO offers a new version of its cult set
The latest version of the Sith Infiltrator, which had not been renewed since 2015, has 640 pieces and bears the set number 75383. This model offers a more compact design than its predecessors, thus following the trend adopted by LEGO for other emblematic ships of the Star Wars universe. Featuring foldable wings and a cockpit, this set combines detail and playability, providing an immersive building experience.
The sale price is 69.99 euros. This new set is not only a celebration of The Phantom Menace, but it also coincides with the festivities surrounding Star Wars Day. Better known as May the 4th.
In addition to the ship, the set includes three minifigures. Darth Maul, equipped with his double-bladed lightsaber, Qui-Gon Jinn and young Anakin Skywalker, enriching the narrative experience for builders. Probe droids are also provided to complete the scenario.
A happy birthday
A notable aspect of this release is the inclusion of an exclusive Saw Gerrera minifigure to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the LEGO Star Wars line. This figure, long requested by the community, joins Clone Trooper Fives and Darth Malek in the anniversary figure series, adding significant collectible value to the set.
The Sith Infiltrator set is just part of the celebrations planned for May the 4th. LEGO has planned a series of seven sets in total. Including a diversity of themes and prices, ranging from Grogu’s escape scene at 29.99 euros to a UCS Tie Interceptor at 239.99 euros. Special BrickHeadz dedicated to The Phantom Menace as well as a Commander Cody figurine complete this offer. Promising fans a memorable celebration of the Star Wars universe.
