PARIS (Reuters) – A man was arrested on Friday at the Iranian consulate in Paris, the police headquarters said, after a police operation was launched after the report of a man carrying a grenade and a vest. explosives.

“The man was arrested. He did not have any explosives on him,” a police source told Reuters.

The individual left the building and is being checked by the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI) which had been mobilized, the police headquarters said.
