After having had success with Planet Zoo, Jurassic World Evolution or Planet Coaster; the Frontier studio puts its science of management games to good use with F1 Manager 2022.
David Braben’s studio (also known for being the creator of the Raspberri Pi) is therefore attacking the premier category of motorsport, with a brand new game that will offer us to put on the clothes of a team manager who launches into the Formula 1 world championship. If we had been able to take advantage of certain management elements in the F1 series of Codemasters, F1 Manager 2022 will hide the driving aspect to focus on the backstage of the Grand Prix. It will therefore be necessary to manage the pilots, the engineers, but also the fans, in order to pocket the supreme title.
F1 Manager 2022: towards new Frontiers?
As in real life, money will be the sinews of war, and it will therefore be necessary to be a wise manager in order to find the perfect balance between R&D, the wages of the engineers, and the requirements of the pilots. The bulk of the work will thus be done before the race weekends, but the Grand Prix will not be forgotten since the race strategy will have to be decided there. Of course, the game will have all the official licenses of the FIA championship. Moreover, we are even entitled to a small statement from Ross Brawn (technical and sporting director of F1, and former team boss) who seems excited about the arrival of a new game.

F1 Manager 2022 will be released this summer on PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
