A woman is suspected of having killed her 7-year-old daughter whose lifeless body was discovered on Wednesday at the family home in Saint-Loup (Allier), said the Cusset prosecution. The little girl has “a priori received stabbings from his mother”told AFP the public prosecutor of Cusset Eric Neveu.
An open investigation
His lifeless body was discovered Wednesday morning by the emergency services at the family’s home, he said, confirming information from The mountain. An investigation was opened for “homicide by ascendant”. The 38-year-old mother of the girl had to be hospitalized after attempting suicide. She “will be taken into custody as soon as his condition allows it”, specified Eric Neveu.
The tragedy took place “in a painful context of separation” which would have been badly accepted by the mother, according to him. The investigation was entrusted to the research brigade of the Vichy gendarmes.
