Still alive, still standing, Marvel’s Avengers continues its regular updates. This time, Square Enix’s game service adds a much-requested and fan-favourite character.
Bucky Barnes arrives in Marvel’s Avengers
Marvel’s Avengers will welcome its big patch 2.6. On the program for this substantial new update, content to keep the most loyal players who have not deserted the game busy for a few more hours. An event, “No Rest for the Wicked”, will feature the antagonist of the end-game which will try to resuscitate MODOK and a new zone (the Bay of San Francisco) will be part of the game. On the other hand, what we will remember is the arrival of a new long-awaited playable hero.
The lucky winner is none other than James Barnes, alias Bucky, better known as the Winter Soldier. Captain America’s sidekick has yet to reveal his full move set, but the developers assured that he would not be “a mirror character”. Understand by this that its gameplay will not echo an existing hero like Jane Foster with Thor for example. He will have his own attacks, skills and he can even use an assault rifle. The character is still in the testing phase, it will be necessary to wait a little before seeing him in action. Buck Barnes will therefore be available for free in Marvel’s Avengers update 2.6. Its deployment date has not yet been revealed.
