a much-requested change that will save the game

In a few days, Diablo 4 will welcome its much anticipated patch 1.1.1 by the community. Among its changes, a major problem will finally be resolved. The fans are over the moon.

It goes without saying that Diablo 4 has had some difficulties since its release, with one of the main culprits being a big patch that was rolled out shortly before the start of Season 1. The latter brought changes that were clearly not welcomed by the community. It was necessary to rectify the shooting, and quickly. On August 8, everything will be back to normal thanks to patch 1.1.1, which has already been applauded by players. However, there is information about this update that has gone unnoticed.

Crashes in Diablo 4 are over!

Even if it is not explained clearly in the description of patch 1.1.1, there will be adjustments made in terms of the management of what is called VRAM (or video RAM). For this explanation, there is no need to go into detail, you just have to remember that the way Diablo 4 managed the VRAM caused bugs, lags and even crashes. This problem, which already existed at launch, had normally been fixed by the developers. However, it has resurfaced due to a recent patch, incidentally affecting PS5 users. However, if like many you are affected by this concern, then it’s time to celebrate.

For good reason, Adam Fletcher, community manager on Diablo 4, said that patch 1.1.1 would bring changes to VRAM management. Something to reassure fans who were afraid of not being able to continue to play the game under favorable conditions.

After changing the VRAM management, we did some internal testing and found that memory levels remained consistent even after several hours of gameplay.

A promising 1.1.1 patch

For latecomers, a reminder is needed about the changes brought about by this new Diablo 4 patch. In addition to the fixes and other small additions, it will above all come to improve the efficiency of the classes, in particular Wizards and Barbarians. The other major changes are on the side of Legendary items, Nightmare Dungeons, but also monsters and bosses. All will experience adjustments welcomed, for the moment, positively by the Diablo 4 community.

Are you looking forward to August 8?
