“A must for all patriots”: Trump is back with an illustrated book

“A must for all patriots”
Trump is back with an illustrated book

It has been almost a year since Donald Trump was voted out of office as US President. The Republican still refuses to accept his defeat. In an illustrated book, the 75-year-old now looks back on the time in the White House – and shares it out against his successor Biden.

Former US President Donald Trump announced the publication of his first book after leaving the White House just in time for Christmas shopping. It is an “official illustrated book” with the title “Our Journey Together”, as Trump announced. “This book is a must have for all patriots. I handpick every photo and I own every caption, some in my own handwriting.” The volume with more than 300 pictures show “unforgettable moments” of his four-year tenure. “These proud achievements are in stark contrast to the destruction of our country that is taking place.”

Trump published some of the images and associated texts on the Internet in advance. A photo shows him with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, next to it is Trump’s comment: “Boris is unique – and a fantastic leader of the UK. He will go down in history as the best Prime Minister since Winston Churchill.” The Internet advertising presence is accompanied by statements from Trump’s children Donald Jr and Ivanka. Son Donald Jr writes: “Nobody has achieved as much for America as my father in his four years in the White House. This incredible photo book documents every step of the way.”

The illustrated book costs $ 74.99 (equivalent to 66.25 euros). With the signature of the ex-president, the book strikes at $ 229.99. It should be delivered at the beginning of next month.

The Democrat Joe Biden had replaced the Republican Trump on January 20 in the White House. Trump has not accepted his defeat against Biden in the presidential election to this day and sees himself being deprived of victory by fraud. However, there is no evidence of this. It is speculated whether Trump will run again for the 2024 presidential election. The 75-year-old has left that open so far.
