It’s time ! The new Epic Games Store free game of the week is available, it is a title released this year, but far from being unanimously acclaimed.

Until November 30, still at 5 p.m., you will experience a more challenging journey than last week’s free games with the SF adventure game Deliver Us Mars. Its name leaves little room for doubt, it is the much-loved and highly acclaimed sequel Deliver Us The Moon released in 2018. A decade after the events of the first game, known as the Fortuna mission, the The end of humanity is near. It is on the verge of extinction when a mysterious distress signal from Mars gives it hope. Ultimately, it is a certain Kathy Johanson, the youngest astronaut on Earth, and her crew, who will have the difficult task of trying to save their loved ones. Their mission: recover the colony’s ARCHES ships, stolen by a mysterious organization.
On the gameplay side, the game builds on what made its predecessor successful, namely weightless sequences, a slew of puzzles, a laser cutter as a Swiss army knife and, above all, a small robot to help you . The objective is to cross and survive in the hostile and arid environment of Mars by using both muscles and mind. Despite reworked gameplay, this new free Epic Games Store game was much less convincing than its predecessor and opinions are divided. If its narration and its environments are visibly among its strong points, many regret its technical part, in particular the unconvincing character modeling, and the escalation phases which lack fluidity. But hey, it’s free so you might as well try it.

And for next week? One of the free Epic Games Store games had leaked, but it won’t be alone. From November 30 to December 7 at 5 p.m., players will be able to get their hands on Jitsu Squad and Mighty Fight Federation. The first is presented as a hyper colorful beat’em up inspired by Marvel vs Capcom, all with transformations. It actually looks very dynamic, fun and really beautiful, which Steam feedback tends to confirm. The opinions, although few in number, are mostly very positive.
We stay on the fighting theme with the second free Epic Games Store game. Mighty Fight Federation is a 3D fighting game where anything goes. Throw your opponents against the walls, throw them in the air to then better chain them and pummel them with blows. On the program, 14 characters, one-on-one matches and a team mode. Here again little feedback on this game, this will be the opportunity to test it for free.
