It could be that Xbox Game Pass had a nice surprise in store in the form of a new game that was very popular with its subscribers… before releasing it via an unwilling leak.
Xbox Game Pass users have reported receiving a notification reminding them of upcoming releases in June. In addition to several games already announced, a new game still kept secret has slipped into the message to subscribers, to the delight of fans of life simulators.
A nice surprise from Xbox Game Pass accidentally leaked
It was in particular on the Reddit dedicated to Xbox Game Pass that a subscriber shared his discovery. This reports on the new trendy games present or coming this month on the Microsoft service. There we find Octopath Traveler 2, available since June 6, as well as Isonzo, released on June 13. Finally, the notification mentions a certain and very popular My Time at Sandrock, which has not yet been the subject of an announcement.
For now, the only Pathea Games game available on Xbox Game Pass is My Time at Portia. It therefore seems that its successor, released on November 2, 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch, will be the subject of a surprise deployment in the coming days. As a reminder, this is a 3D Stardew Valley survival simulator. The goal is to build and manage a farm in the desert town of Sandrock, develop relationships with the inhabitants, and sometimes fight creatures or human adversaries threatening to ransack this little sandy haven of peace.
Let’s also remember that Xbox Game Pass has currently only detailed its program until tomorrow, June 18. Beyond that, the mystery as to the new games to come remains unsolved. But recent leaks in addition to today’s have already partly spoiled the surprise. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 1 or 2 as well as the magnificent Tchia could thus join My Time at Sandrock on Microsoft’s subscription service in the second half of June. In any case, you won’t have to wait very long to find out for sure.
