A new gameplay trailer for Aliens Dark Descent

After LV-426 and Fiorina-16, head to Planet Lethe for a joyful game of Xenomorph slaughter. Fresh off the Otago ship, your group of Colonial Marines will have to hunt down the Aliens and eliminate any threat. Flamethrowers, turrets, weapons with suppressive fire, the squad should have enough to defend against Xenomorphs, some types of which would be new.

Loving the Alien

Aliens Dark Descent wants to be a demanding game, and does not hide its affiliation with the x-com by Firaxis. After having formed his team by selecting from 5 classes of Marines, the clashes will be tactical and will require cold blood to get out of it. Focus insisted that Xenomorphs will adapt to player decisions, and changes to environments will be permanent, making each run unique. Each death is permanent, and managing the stress and health of each crew member will take some skill. At the end of each mission, the squad will return to Otago, where the player can recruit new future victims, improve equipment via technological research trees, and heal still-abled Marines. When we tell you that it sweats the x-com through all the pores of the skin…

Aliens: Dark Descent releases on June 20 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC, and pre-orders for the game are already open on the publisher’s official website.
