After just under two years of Early Access, Rogue Legacy 2 arrives in full version on April 28, 2022. Still developed and published by Cellar Door Games, the roguelike is planned for PC.
Demons are a family affair, and in Rogue Legacy, your lineage defines you. Use the legacy of your dead parents against evil to expand the family mansion. Thanks to this, future generations will have more chances of survival, as well as better training. But some may be affected by various ailments that could handicap them during their lives.
Rogue Legacy 2, like its predecessor, is a genealogical roguelike. We therefore find the procedural generation of levels, enemies and loot. But its specificity is to allow the player to embody the descendants of the same family in order to improve their abilities. Each has its own classes, its own strengths, but also weaknesses that can handicap it.
