From January 2023, the beneficiaries of MaPrimeRnov’ and energy renovation aid from the National Housing Agency will gradually have to be supported in their projects. A decree of July 22 came to lay down the conditions for this compulsory support.
Help with drawing up a financing plan, energy studies and assistance in prospecting and selecting professionals: the service My Rnov’ Accompanist will become mandatory from September 1, 2023 for beneficiaries of MaPrimeRenov’, under certain conditions, according to a decree published on July 22 in Official newspaper.
Thus, support will be imposed for aid requests involving at least 2 MaPrimeRnov’ eligible work stations, including the cost is more than 5000 euros each. The overall amount of the aid application must therefore be over 10,000 euros.
My Rnov’ Coach, how did it work?
Mon Accompagnateur Rénov’ aims to provide households wishing to carry out an energy-efficient, high-performance or global renovation project with detailed, objective and appropriate information throughout its implementation. It will be broken down into three stages:
- A housing condition assessment and household situation
- A energy audit or the presentation of an existing energy audit
- The preparation and support the completion of the work project.
In the overseas departments and regions, from January 1, 2023 to July 1, 2024, the energy audit is replaced by one energy rating which responds to one of the existing reference frameworks in these territories.
This support will be carried out by the public service for the energy performance of housing (SPPEH), which has a network of information and advice desks, whose skills are equivalent throughout the territory.

MaPrimeRnov’ is not the only financial aid offered by the National Housing Agency (Anah) which will require mandatory support.
