a new patch with a much-requested free addition

Hogwarts Legacy benefits from a new update with new features long requested by the community of budding wizards. This is what we know.

Avalanche Software has revealed a video detailing the Hogwarts Legacy summer update for the PS5 and PS4 consoles, scheduled for June 6, 2024. Initially announced via a post on Twitter, this update is now supported by video footage showing the new features, including an expanded photo mode and various additional content.

Hogwarts Legacy gets better

One of the major additions in this update is the improved photo mode. Players will be able to capture much more refined screenshots thanks to a multitude of options. It will be possible to change the poses of the characters, change the time of day and season, add frames and use various photo editing features. This allows players to create images perfectly tailored to their tastes and share their favorite moments from the game in an even more aesthetic way.

In addition to photo mode, the update allows players to redistribute their talent points. This feature gives more flexibility to adapt the character’s skills according to the needs and preferences of each player, improving the gaming experience. The Hogsmeade side quest, previously exclusive to the PS5 and PS4 versions, will be now available to all players. Additionally, Azkaban cosmetics will be available for free to everyone. Another notable addition is the free availability of the developer’s glasses, a nod to the previous easter egg, as well as the Onyx hippogriff, previously offered as a pre-order bonus, and the recipe for the Felix Felicis potion.

Meanwhile, many eyes are on Hogwarts Legacy 2. Even though the game is obviously not yet in development, the rumors persist. And with the success of the first episode, it seems unthinkable that Warner will not continue to capitalize on this trend.
