The Horizon license will return to the forefront shortly if these new leaks are to be believed, the Summer Game Fest is going to be hot!
After Killzone, Guerrilla studio has created a new, now cult PlayStation license: Horizon. In three games, including two main ones, and some DLC, the franchise has established itself as a strong IP of the brand and Sony is counting heavily on it. We know that several games are in development within the studio, and obviously one of them will soon appear, new information has just been released.
A new Horizon game is coming… on the horizon and with a surprise!
It’s been rumored for a while, LEGO Horizon Adventure would indeed be a reality. It’s Bilbil-Kun, a renowned informant, who has just released the information. After having stuck his nose everywhere, the latter tells us that he is able to confirm that not only does the game exist and would indeed be published by Sony (predictable), but thatas a bonus it would be released on PS5 and PC simultaneously. If this is true, this would be an excellent surprise for players.
Sony continues to develop on PC and opts for a much more aggressive policy than in the past. We know, for example, that the company now plans to put all of its service games on PC from launch, this has been confirmed, whereas single-player games would remain exclusives for a good while. A policy which, little by little, is approaching that of green competition. Xbox has no longer hesitated to deploy its exclusive games on console and PC for years now.
An imminent announcement!
Anyway, the next game LEGO Horizon Adventure should follow suit and land on PC at the same time as a PS5 release. The game will be playable in cooperation and will require a PSN account, which also means that it may not be available in all countries again. It could also imply that this future game would be a service game, which would explain why it would land on PC and why it would have so many online features, including cross-platform.
Finally, bilbil-kun assures us that the game will be offered in several versions, standard and deluxe and thatan announcement is expected in the coming days. Yes, for Summer Game Fest, of course. We knew that PlayStation had not revealed everything, it is very likely that this Lego Horizon is one of the expected announcements.
