LEGO and Star Wars on Disney+

LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy promises a bold and fun reinterpretation of the Star Wars universe, where the usual roles of the characters are reversed and new challenges await our heroes. The story follows Sig Greebling, a shepherd who, after discovering a powerful artifact in a hidden Jedi temple, finds himself thrust into an epic adventure to restore order to a galaxy in turmoil.

This animated series stands out not only for its humorous approach, but also for the creativity with which LEGO elements are integrated into the story. According to executive producer James Waugh and writing duo Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, the series is a celebration of “all things Star Wars and LEGO,” exploring never-before-seen set combinations, like Imperial X-fighters. , rebel TIE-wings, and even Darth Jar Jar.

The voice cast includes renowned actors such as Gaten Matarazzo (Stranger Things), Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel), Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live), Marsai Martin (Black-ish) and Michael Cusack (Smiling Friends), with Star Wars veterans like Ahmed Best (Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars) and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker in Star Wars) reprising iconic roles in this offbeat take on the galaxy.
