It is a wicker bassinet called Megara Magic Cradle from the Spanish brand Pasito a Pasito created in 1995 and specialized in maternity and childcare accessories and products which was recalled this Friday April 19, 2024. A massive alert which concerns the entire French territory, because it would present a significant danger for babies: a risk of the child falling following a lack of stability during manufacturing. Voluntarily recalled by the brand, this concerns the two elements of the cradle: the natural wood bassinet support as well as the natural wicker bassinet.

According to the recall sheet, this product has two different references: 74 840 for the support and 474 376 for the bassinet with the following barcodes: 8 410 446 748 404 and 8 410 446 743 768. Marketed throughout France between 06/11/2020 and 03/15/2024 through the online distributor Berceaumagique, these bassinets present “dangerous due to the risk of the child falling » as indicated on the sheet in question. Consumers are then informed that a risk of “external injuries »is present, suggesting the worst if the baby falls from the bassinet.
What should consumers who purchased the product do?
If you are concerned by the purchase of this item, the recall sheet expressly requests that you no longer use this bassinet and contact the point of sale as quickly as possible for destruction of the product. You can also return the product to the sending site and set up a refund procedure.
