Released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September 2021, The Eternal Cylinder lands on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Steam. ACE Team and Good Shepherd Entertainment announce the release of these new versions for October 13, 2022. Note that PS4 and Xbox One players will be able to upgrade their version to its next-gen equivalent for free. A free demo of the game will also go live on Steam on October 3 as part of the Steam Next Fest.
In addition to next-gen versions, The Eternal Cylinder will also benefit from new content on all platforms. Thus, we will see the arrival of two new creatures that you will have to keep an eye on as well as a new skill for your Trebhum. Technical improvements are also appearing. On PC, the game will be able to manage 4K resolution as well as Ray Tracing. The PS5 version will benefit from the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers of the DualSense.
As a reminder, The Eternal Cylinder takes you to an unknown planet and puts you in the shoes of a tiny creature called Trebhum. Your goal is to make your fragile Trebhum evolve as quickly as possible to avoid the extinction that threatens it. Because an inexorable danger stands in your way, the Cylinder. A sort of titanic roller that keeps moving forward and crushes everything in its path.
