A nightmarish night awaits you in The Quarry

Along with the saga The Dark Picturesthe British studio Supermassive Games announces a new cinematic horror game, The Quarry. Published by 2K Games, the game is expected for June 10, 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.

The story takes place as night falls on the Hackett’s Quarry camp. The young monitors prepare a party to mark their last day at camp. But things quickly go awry with the appearance of individuals covered in blood and something even more sinister. The evening where jokes and flirtations reigned will turn into a real nightmare for our nine teenagers.

The game will allow you to embody the nine monitors of the camp in turn in a cinematographic story where each of your decisions will impact the story, tilting your destiny towards one of the many possible branches. The survival of the characters will therefore depend entirely on your actions.

If you can choose to scare yourself on your couch alone, it will also be possible to gather up to 7 friends to lend a hand. Online, your guests will be able to vote to make the most critical decisions and thus shape your story. Locally, everyone can take control of an instructor and take full part in this horror session.

The game promises an impressive cinematic experience thanks to state-of-the-art facial capture and acting from a few well-known faces. Note the presence, among others, of Justice Smith (Jurassic World and Detective Pikachu), by David Arquette (Scream), by Lin Shaye (Insidious) or Lance Henriksen (Aliens) in the cast. A Cinema mode will also transform The Quarry into a real breathtaking thriller to watch comfortably installed in your living room with a little popcorn.
