The PS5 remaster of The Last of Us 2 has once again received a new patch which fixes several bugs, including a rather annoying one which concerns PS4 players.
The Last of Us 2 Remastered is the ultimate version of the second opus. Basically, we are already dealing with a great game. With this new version, we can appreciate it even more with new additions. We are not only talking about new developments on a technical level. We have, for example, the roguelike mode called “No Return” which is an argument in itself for moving up a gear. However, is it still perfect? There is always a way to refine a formula, as the developers are showing with a new update that will do some good.

We warn you, this is not a colossal update that transforms the gaming experience. That said, it will still tackle some pretty annoying bugs. For example, in terms of gameplay, there is a fix which eliminates a technical problem where the player could not attack during the final confrontation. Without going too far, we can say that it is clearly not pleasant to come across this. Fortunately, this is now in the past. So, what else do we have on the menu for The Last of Us 2 remaster?
We mainly notice small adjustments here and there. They impact both the user interface and accessibility. In the lot, we note a modification which should delight owners of a PS4. Indeed, a certain bug could occur when importing your save on PlayStation 4 to the PS5 version. It was located on the side of the trophies obtained which were no longer unlocked after import. For completionists, it must have been a rather… annoying situation. Don’t worry, it is – normally – no longer possible to encounter this big glitch in The Last of Us 2
Incidentally, the “No Return” mode has also undergone some welcome changes. Nothing too bad, but clickers could sometimes get stuck on certain maps.
