It’s been a year now A Plague Tale: Requiem was announced by Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainmenta sequel to the critically and gamer-acclaimed adventure ofAmicia and Hugo of Rune, A Plague Tale: Innocence, which will take us to the south of France. The adventures that await them are still very vague, apart from the presence of the rats of course and the fact that the heroine’s younger brother will be at the center of the plot, with an emphasis on the Prima Macula. We were able to appreciate the gameplay phases twice, during the Game Awards 2021 and so yesterday on the occasion of Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022and it’s not over.
The editor gives us meet on Thursday, June 23 at 11:00 a.m. to discover an extended overview of the gameplay in the trailer which will be active via the video stream above, but also and especially the release date of A Plague Tale: Requiem, which should therefore see the light of day in the coming months on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and PC. The expanded preview of gameplay started with Amicia and Hugo swinging, before moving on to a conversation with a villager. A soldier chasing them, the duo are forced to flee into a quarry. And guess what’s there? Rats of course, even if we don’t see them, allowing Hugo to locate the echo of the soldiers in the manner of the eagle vision ofAssassin’s Creed. On the side ofAmicia, his crossbow allows him to effectively eliminate threats. Finally, the release date of A Plague Tale: Requiem is set for October 18, 2022 ! Also note that the game will benefit from the ray tracing and DLSS of NVIDIA on PC.

As a reminder, a fairly expensive collector’s edition was unveiled last February.
