Roster changes happen every day and on all games in esports. If some are on good terms, others are sometimes controversial. This is also the case for the very recent departure of Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross Jr from Team SMG on Dota 2. On May 20, the structure formalized the news which did not fail to revolt the community since the player spoke directly about the situation.
On Twitter, the player mentioned very surprising reasons. Indeed, the double participant of The International, evokes that his departure is linked to the fact thathe would rather spend time with his mom who had stage 4 cancer and died a few days later than go to a bootcamp. According to him, the structure would have evoked the fact that this situation would lower the player’s performance level. This incredible story is simply shameful and intolerable.
Kicked because my mom was on her last days and they assumed it would affect my performance. I already knew for some time that this day will come. Since she had stage 4 cancer. She passed away on Monday. Imagine being fired from a job because you are about to lose a loved one.

If ninjaboogie can keep their heads up sincehe acted in the best possible way by being close to a person he loved, the structure cannot do the same. Many personalities have come forward in response to the tweet of the player’s departure to support the latter and especially to accuse Team SMG. The latter has still not officially reacted to this controversy. and we are eagerly awaiting an explanation that should not restore its image.
Anyway, we can support the player who lives complicated days following the death of his mother and his unfair exclusion from the team. On his side, ninjaboogie talked about how he never wanted to hear about the structure againWell Named.
Further explanation. I was supposed to fly back and join the team on the 14th. My mom had a stroke on the evening of 12th and was admitted. I asked if i could have my flight moved as bootcamp starts on the 20th. Midone gave me a call on the 14th asking my decision.
