Anker enters the Plug & Play dedicated to self-consumption. With its Anker Solix, the manufacturer offers a new family of products which is positioned in the high end and which displays great ambitions.
Anker already offers many photovoltaic panels, but they are mainly designed to power its power stations. The manufacturer is moving up a gear with its new Anker Solix range, its first Plug&Play solar station proposal dedicated to self-consumption.
Anker Solix
Solar electricity is certainly one of the easiest renewable energies to implement by the general public. According to ADEME, there is a reservoir of 350 GWh of urban surface area in France which could be used to produce solar energy. The energy crisis and ecological awareness are giving a boost to domestic production. Alongside the classic panels that are installed on the roofs of houses, there are Plug & Play solar stations.
Their concept is simple, a solar panel designed to be installed on the ground or on a balcony. It comes with a micro-inverter that will transform solar energy into electricity and inject it into your electrical network through an outlet. This allows you to generate significant savings, even from a small balcony. Exactly what the Anker Solix range offers, which includes two variations.
- The Anker Solix RS40 which displays measurements of 172.2 x 113.4 x 3.5 cm for 20.5 kg for a power of 415 Wp and an efficiency of 21.3%.
- The Anker SOlix RS40P is a little more upscale with a beautiful plain black surface and more interesting technical characteristics: 440 Wp and an energy efficiency of 23%. Its dimensions are close to the RS40 (170.6 x 113.4 x 3.5 cm), it is just a little heavier with 22 kg on the scale.
Each is accompanied by a 600 W inverter and includes all the elements necessary for assembly, even the tools. The panel(s) can be installed on the ground or on a balcony. Count 799 euros for an RS40 with accessories and supports, 1,249 euros for two RS40 panels and therefore 830 Wp. The RS40P is billed at 999 euros with accessory and support, 1,649 euros for two panels or 880 Wp.
Anker guarantees the microinverter for 10 years, the cells of the panels for 12 years for the RS40 and 15 years for the RS40P. It also provides a 30-year performance guarantee at 88% of the initial yield for the RS40P model. A complete offer which is at the top of the range of the sector and which we look forward to testing.
