A question of risk – “Mia sets the pace”: Tippler leaves the comeback open

A year ago, Tamara Tippler ended the ski season early due to her pregnancy and is now leaving the possibility of returning. However, the 2025 World Cup in Saalbach-Hinterglemm could offer a special incentive. The focus is on the question of whether she wants to take the risk again.

“I will decide for myself whether I want to take the risk of thundering down the slopes at 130 km/h again,” the Styrian explains to “Blick”. However, she is definitely interested in returning to the ski circus. The central question is whether the 32-year-old has the courage to expose herself to the risk again. The home World Cup in Saalbach-Hinterglemm could provide an incentive to do so. Support is certain. If Tippler returns, she is aware of the hardships. First of all, it’s about getting back as fit as before. However, those around her would support her. Her mother had already assured her that she would accompany her on trips in the event of a comeback. Leaving daughter Mia at home all the time is not an option. Tippler now enjoys being able to watch the races without stress. “It’s different than just two people. Mia sets the pace. But it’s beautiful, we’re a good team. And when she wakes up next to us in the morning and we get up together, it’s very sweet,” says the speed specialist with satisfaction.
