That was foreseeable: For the third time, the theatrical release of "A Quiet Place 2" has been corrected backwards due to the corona pandemic.

It feels like "And the groundhog greets you every day": After countless film releases had to be postponed at the beginning of the corona pandemic last year, their alternative dates from 2021 are now shaking – or, as in the case of "A Quiet Place 2 "happened, already tipped. As the US site "Variety" reports, the sequel to John Krasinski's (41) surprise hit from 2018 has now been postponed to September 17, 2021, at least in the US.

This means that the theatrical release planned in this country on April 22nd should be a thing of the past, even if no new date has yet been announced for Germany. The original plan was to release the horror flick starring Emily Blunt (37) in the lead role on March 20, 2020. As one of the first major productions, it was postponed to September 2020 and finally to 2021 due to the Corona crisis.
