In episode 3 of She-Hulk released this Thursday on Disney+, our superheroine (Tatiana Maslany) must find a solution to get Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) out of prison. She can count on the help of an Avenger to defend her client after a video is released showing Abomination fighting in a ring. An episode a little less rich in easter eggs but with a cameo… size!

Wong is back

We had to wait for episode 3 of she hulk to see the arrival of Wong (Benedict Wong), Sorcerer Supreme and librarian at Kamar-Taj in his spare time. A character that comes to us directly from Doctor Strange – but that we also saw in the Avengers and the last Spider-Man. The latter tells us that he asked to fight Abomination as part of his training to become Sorcerer Supreme during the Blip.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

“I won’t erase any memories,” Wong tells Jennifer. This is a nod to Spider-Man: No Way Home in which Strange casts a spell to make the whole world forget that Peter Parker is the Spider-Man. We know what happened…

The Mirror Dimension and the Shadow Dimension

A reference to the dimensions mastered by practitioners of the mystical arts. The Mirror Dimension is regularly used by Strange to lock up his enemies. In the Dark – or Shadow – Dimension is the big bad Dormammu whom Stephen faces at the end of the first part.

Bukowski is scammed by a luminous Elf, a character who comes to us from the kingdom of Alfheim. It is quite rare in the MCU to see this kind of character appear. We only know the Dark Elves, notably through the character of Malekith, the big villain of Thor: The Dark World.

“Asgard is not a place but a people”

A replica that does not come from Thor but from Odin in Thor 3, when the superhero comes to cry with his father after the destruction of Asgard by his sister.

A team of villains

She-Hulk gets attacked by a group of youths carrying Asgardian weapons. In the comics, it’s a real gang of criminals with superpowers. It is made up of Wrecker (Dirk Garthwaite), Bulldozer (Henry Camp), Piledriver (Brian Calusky) and Thunderball (Eliot Franklin). We do not yet know who hired them to steal Jennifer’s blood, but theories are already flourishing on the web (Titania? The Kingpin? Samuel Sterns from The Incredible Hulk?).
