Elden Ring is a titanic game and has been praised for it. A generous open world, full of things to discover and which highlights exploration like no other. No indicator, no interface to highlight explorable areas… it’s up to you and you alone to experiment and discover. A game which very quickly transformed into an immense sandbox, a veritable cradle of all possible and unimaginable mods, which Hidetaka Miyazaki, the father of Elden Ring, appreciates. But even after two years of traveling the Inter-Earth with and without a mod, know that you haven’t seen everything yet!
Elden Ring hasn’t revealed everything yet
Secret hunter friends, you haven’t finished racking your brains. And yes, the game has not revealed all its secrets, far from it. This seems very surprising, especially when we know that the community managed to dig up the content of certain patches in advance or things that ended up being overlooked during development. But obviously that wasn’t enough since Elden Ring still keeps a few secrets up its sleeve. In any case, that’s what Hidetaka Miyazaki tells us. The latter spilled the beans in the columns of our colleagues at IGN during a speech to announce the release date of the Shadow of the World Tree DLC. Thinking carefully, the director thinks that“There is still one thing that has not been discovered”. An easter egg? A hidden meaning for an element of the game? A final nod to another souls-like? Good question. Miyazaki gives absolutely no clues, but for him it should be discovered shortly. “I think it’s just a matter of time, but there are still little things missing”, he concludes, and we will have to be content with that. Enough to drive crazy all the fans who spent very long hours scouring the game in search of the slightest secret.
No leads then, but it will certainly not be forgotten. Without a doubt, a pair of fans must already be raking every pixel in search of this/these famous secret(s). Let’s see now if this will be discovered by the release of the very big DLC. The new chapter of Elden Ring, Shadow of the World Tree, will arrive on consoles and PC on June 21. So it will happen very quickly.
