For the past few days, Warzone players have noticed that Vanguard’s PPSH received a secret upgrade after the Season 2 update, making this submachine gun overpowered.
After a slight delay, Warzone Pacific’s Season 2 update finally arrived on February 14, bringing new features to Caldera in the form of Redeploy Balloons, along with two new weapons and a host of fixes.
On top of that, a handful of weapons also received balance changes, including nerfs to the MP-40 and C58.
However, players have noticed that some tweaks were not mentioned in the Season 2 update patch notes with the PPSh receiving massive damage buffs.
These changes were uncovered by Warzone stats guru JGOD, who noted that the weapon was already “pretty decent” before the update, but is now “even more broken than the MAC-10” at the time.
Vanguard’s PPSH-41 destroys absolutely everyone at any range.
JGOD thinks these changes may be an “accident” due to the power of the weapon, with the PPSH having an “insane” TTK (Time-To-Kill) even if you shoot your enemy in the feet.
The PPSh’s TTK, according to JGOD’s findings, averages 419 milliseconds, which is absurdly fast compared to its rivals.
And even worse, if you use the “hipfire” model which has a little wilder recoil, the TTK drops to 353 milliseconds.

As JGOD clarifies during his video, if this is an accidental change that shouldn’t have happened, then Raven will be quick to update it.
